Scheffler Shuffles to Second Masters Title

When it comes to golf no matter how good you are, it is nearly impossible to guarantee that you will perform at your best in the biggest moments. This does not seem to apply to Scottie Scheffler these days though as he cruised to another triumph at Augusta National, his second in three years. The world number one was the pre-tournament favourite and he did not disappoint. His competition crumbled around him as he went from strength to strength on Sunday. It was clear early on that if anyone else wanted to win, Scheffler would have to take himself out of the running….. and he almost did! Scottie’s wife Meredith is pregnant with their first child and he made it abundantly clear that if she went into labour, he would walk out mid-round (I’m sure that had the tournament organizers on edge). Fortunately for the fans and the officials, he was able to complete the round. It’s a story for the ages that will fit his legendary career better than the green jacket itself
